SBV talent, Sal Lopez, portrays Juan Diego in The Latino Theater Company's production of La Virgen de Guadalupe, Dios Inantzin. La Virgen de Guadalupe, Dios Inantzin is a beautiful pageant play performed in Spanish (English subtitles at The New LATC dates) with music and dance that retells the story of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the Indian peasant Juan Diego in the hills of Tepeyac. Because of its universal message of faith, love and perserverance the pageant appeals to diverse people, regardless of race, language or religion. La Virgen de Guadalupe, Dios Inantzin will be presented Dec. 6th and 7th at 7:30 PM, free of charge (donations are appreciated) at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral (555 W. Temple Street; LA, CA 90012). Additional performances at The New LATC (514 S. Spring Street; LA, CA 90013) will be running Dec. 13-16th and 20-22nd; Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
